Help us Build our Data Base

The FINDER section of K-hub will provide valuable assistance to both, new hires, and seasoned nurses.  It will save us a lot of time, and will give us a quick refresher on the essentials of each piece of equipment, materials, and supplies.

WE NEED EVERYBODY’S HELP to build our data base and start taking advantage of this useful feature.

You can pitch in by creating profiles of specific pieces of equipment, materials, or supplies.  Make sure you include the name (or names) of the item, photos, videos, assembly instructions, tips on usage and care, etc.  The more complete the entry, the better.  Download the Item Profile Form to help you collect the data on each item.

Before you start collecting your data however, please go to our master inventory sheet, and make sure the item you want to work on is not already there.  If the item is already catalogued, please choose another one.

Once you’ve checked that your item is not already in the inventory, go ahead and collect your data, using the Item Profile Form as a guide.

Lastly, please add the item you’re working on to the master inventory as soon as possible.  This way, we’ll prevent someone else from duplicating your work.  If your item belongs to more than one category (multiple services) you can enter it into multiple services, and/or the miscellaneous section.
